Reservation System at Multnomah Falls

IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR, YOU MUST HAVE A RESERVATION TICKET TO VISIT THE FALLS.    

Timed Reservation Tickets are available at Recreation.gov and reservations can be made up to two weeks prior to visiting Multnomah Falls and are required between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.  Note: Reservations are NOT needed prior to 9 a.m. or after 6 p.m.

 

PLAN AHEAD

It’s important to get a ticket ahead of time.  Tickets are free but there is an administration fee of $1 per person and tickets cannot be purchased onsite.

 

CAR ACCESS TO THE SITE

Cars are only allowed to Access Multnomah Falls and the Historic Lodge from the Interstate 84 parking lot at Exit 31. Parking or stopping in front of the Lodge on the Historic Columbia River Highway is not permitted.

 

BE MINDFUL OF YOUR ONE HOUR TIME SLOT

Visitors are encouraged to allow enough time when traveling to arrive as close to the one-hour time slot as possible, starting at the time indicated on the ticket. Visitors will not be permitted to enter the site prior to the reservation time and the ticket becomes invalid one hour after time indicated. Once you have arrived, you can stay as long as you would like!

 

BE RESPECTFUL

Parking & Access are limited at the falls and along the Historic Highway.  The ticket system is in place for your safety and the safety of others.  Rude or disrespectful behavior serves no one.

 

GO BY TRANSIT

Several public and private providers offer options from the Portland Metro area, or nearby locations in the Gorge. Anyone arriving by Transit will receive a permit to enter the Falls without making a reservation.  Schedules for the public transit services provided by CAT can be found by going to the https://www.ridecatbus.org/columbia-gorge-express/ or by calling (541) 386-4202 during the day (8am-5pm).
