The west viaduct near Multnomah Falls, part of the Columbia River Historic Highway, is currently closed to all traffic until Memorial Day 2025 for structural repairs.
Vehicles traveling eastbound will be turned around at the Wahkeena Falls Trailhead before reaching the Multnomah Falls Lodge. Westbound vehicles will be turned around at the Multnomah Falls Lodge. Other sections of the Historic Highway will remain open during construction.
The best way to visit Multnomah Falls will be via Exit 31 on I-84 or take transit.

Historic viaducts carry traffic on the Historic Columbia River Highway to Multnomah Falls. The viaducts are original to the Historic Highway and over 100 years old and repairs will allow the viaducts to continue carrying traffic for years to come.
